Wednesday, Sept. 7
6 p.m. The UU Singers practice.  All voices welcome. UU Singers, choir practice.
7 p.m. Wednesday Discussion Group. This week “Our Relationship with Mexico.”

Thursday, Sept. 8
5:30 pm The UU Women’s Group meets at Rankin Photography Center for a special showing. Dinner follows at Los Amigos.

Friday, Sept. 9
12:30 p.m. The UU Media Lunch meets at Sapo’s for discussions of wide-ranging topics. All are welcome. RSVP to Bill Harlan at (605) 390-0590.

Sunday, Sept. 11
Childcare is available from 9:30 a.m. until noon.
9:30 a.m. Adult Religious Education. This week we start our eight-week series, “Building Your Own Theology,” which gets to the heart of Unitarian Universalism. We encourage each members individual, unique search for truth and meaning. Rick Spradlin leads.
10:30 a.m. Join us for coffee, light refreshments and conversation before the service.
10:45 a.m. Sunday service. This week’s speaker is Columbus State University President Chris Markwood, who will present “Facts and Stories from Columbus State University.”

10:50 a.m. Children’s Religious Education. The kids join us for the first part of the service, which includes a children’s story. Then they adjourn to a classroom for their own activities. This week the kids will focus on the Second Principle of Unitarian Universalism, which calls for justice, equity and compassion in human relations.
