Connie Ussery: “Women—the Secret to World Peace”

March is Women’s History Month, and women around the world are making history right now. Join us Sunday, March 21 (on Zoom) to celebrate women who are shaping our world..

Connie Ussery

In 2018, Connie helped us celebrate Women’s History Month during a joint presentation about overcoming past barriers. This year, she has noticed that women of all ages and many backgrounds are shaping human history in ways we can recognize right now, even from an up-close perspective.

Connie Ussery has worn many hats—librarian, English teacher, writer, musician, world traveler and more. Her last talk for our Fellowship was this fall, when she and husband Ron described their recovery from COVID-19. This talk also will be about dramatic stories.

During our Sunday services our goal is to support each other in our own unique, free and responsible searches for truth and meaning. If we succeed, each service will give us food for thought and inspire us to action. We’ll share fellowship and maybe some laughter.
