What Does Sustainability Mean in 2017?

Dr. Mike Dentzau, director of Oxbow Meadows will present “What Does Sustainability Mean in 2017?” Oxbow Meadows is an environmental education center of Columbus State University, in partnership with Columbus Water Works. Dr. Dentzau’s talk promises to be relevant to the Seventh Principle of Unitarian Universalism: respect for the interdependent web of all existence. After the service, stay for our First Sunday covered-dish lunch.

9:30 a.m. Adult Religious Education: “How Did Jesus Become God?” led by Rick Spradlin.
9:30 a.m. UU Singers warmup practice.
10:30 a.m. Coffee and conversation before the service.
10:45 a.m. Sunday Program. “What Does Sustainability Mean in 2017” presented by Dr. Michael Dentzau, Director of Oxbow Meadows.
10:50 a.m. Children’s Religious Education: “Kindness is the Key”, led by Nate Gross. (Kids join us for the first few minutes of the service, which includes a children’s story, this week led by Molly Gross.

Childcare is available from 9:30 a.m. until noon.
