Sunday services begin at 11 a.m., but join us before the service for coffee and conversation. We’re at Grace Fellowship Hall at 8827 Heiferhorn Way in north Columbus, on the banks of Heiferhorn Creek. Visitors and guests are welcome at or liberal, progressive Fellowship. And we’re done by noon.

Susan Stephenson closely follows world events. She also has been talking with long-time Palestinian friends who visited family in Israel shortly before the Oct. 7 attacks. Their family members, who are Christian, are experiencing fear, anger and anxiety “that’s almost overwhelming,” Susan says. Her presentation will include thoughts about Israel and Palestine and also about Ukraine and Russia. And she’ll talk about what individuals can do to nudge the world closer to path towards peace.

Susan grew up in Catskill, NY. She attended Harpur College, SUNY, at Binghamton, NY, and later went on to a job with IBM. Work took Susan to Los Angeles, where she met her husband Frank, who passed away in 2016. They were married 42 years. Now, Susan says, “I’m trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up.” She’s an active member of our Fellowship.

Sunday services feature a speaker—either a member of the Fellowship, like Susan, or a guest—who offers a presentation aligned with the Seven Principles of Unitarian Universalism. Services also include music, readings, meditation and a chance to share your own thoughts.
