Rick Spradlin: “The Need for Easter in Times of Crisis”

We’re meeting together again, in person! After more than a year of pandemic-mandated Zoom services, we’re returning to our campus on Heiferhorn Way for an outdoor Easter Service. They key word is “outdoor.” Be prepared. We’ll be masked up and socially distant. And the service will start at a new time—10:30 a.m. Guests and Easter bonnets welcome.

We will also offer this service live, via Zoom videoconference for those not ready for a in-person gatherings. We understand. We’re working to make this the best possible experience for everyone.

This is will be a great Sunday to reunite. Our Lay Leader Rick Spradlin will explore a unique UU perspective on Easter. “The crisis we see is a crisis we’ve had before,” he says. “Hard times come in cycles. Fortunately, there is also a cycle of rebirth and renewal.”

So please join us on Easter Sunday, April 4. Bring a mask. Bring a hat. Bring a friend!

In the event of bad weather, we’ll hold a regular Zoom service, but we’ll stick to the new service time of 10:30 a.m. Join us a little early for conversation and to make sure the technology works.

Questions, comments or concerns. Email us at uufcga@gmail.com and put “Easter Sunday question” in the subject line.
