Dictionaries have taken to selecting particular words as markers of current culture and this year is no exception. Two of these may describe this season in our lives, both personal and global.

Rev. Marti Keller lives in the Atlanta area. She’s been a Unitarian Universalist minister for more than 25 years, serving individual congregations, as a guest minister and in leadership roles with the Unitarian Universalist Association. She’s also an essayist, a poet and an activist for human rights.
