Phil Shuler is the Director of Development for SafeHouse Ministries. Phil is married to his beautiful wife Katie, and they have seven amazing children ranging in age from 11 to 22 years old. Phil has worked for SafeHouse Ministries for the past three years but has had a heart to serve others since he trusted in Jesus as his savior at the age of 5 years old. Phil loves to study the word of God and share its wisdom and truth as God opens the door for him to speak around the community and beyond Columbus. Phil’s favorite Bible verses are Proverbs 4:18-19 which state “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.”
SafeHouse Ministries – Our purpose is to provide immediate, short term shelter to individuals and families who find themselves homeless due to domestic violence, financial collapse or natural disaster. Our aim is to empower survivors of domestic and sexual violence through support and advocacy and to educate the community to prevent future abuse. Services are offered out of Christian compassion based on need, without regard to ethnicity or creed.
