Monica Luker – “Hope Harbour”

Monica Luker serves as a leader at Hope Harbour, where she is deeply committed to supporting victims and survivors of domestic violence and strengthening community awareness. With a strong background in community outreach, fundraising, and strategic planning, Monica is passionate about building partnerships that create lasting impact and ensure critical services remain accessible to those in need.

She plays an active role in event planning, donor engagement, and public advocacy
efforts that advance Hope Harbour’s mission. As a survivor of domestic violence herself,
Monica is especially passionate about prevention education, empowering victims, and
fostering collaboration among community leaders, law enforcement, and local
organizations.

Beyond her professional work, Monica is a devoted wife to husband, Andy and proud
mother to her son, Noah. She has a heart for serving others and a personal journey
marked by resilience and healing that fuels her compassion for the victims and families
she serves. In her free time, she enjoys time with her family, caring for their many fur
babies, and investing in personal growth and wellness.

At the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Columbus, GA, we are a liberal religion—not because of politics, but because of openness. Because we draw wisdom from many sources. Because we believe revelation is not sealed. Because we welcome questions, stories, and truths from every path. Join us for Sunday programs at 11:00 AM Eastern, come early to enjoy coffee, cookies and conversation!
