Amanda Jones is the Fellowship’s chairperson for youth and children’s programs, earth-centered spirituality, special events. She’s also a frequent speaker and program planner. She has more than 30 years’ experience in service-based roles—with Big Brothers and Big sisters and in churches as a youth director, a small-group leader and a worship team leader. Amanda is a student of mindfulness and meditation, as taught by Thích Nhất Hạnh and Plum Village.
Amanda will speak about how her life’s twists and turns have woven spirituality and religion into the unique perspective she has now.
Looking for a spiritual home where questions are welcomed and diversity is celebrated? Join us this Sunday at our UU Fellowship, where open hearts and open minds come together to explore life’s big questions in a community rooted in love, justice, and compassion. We do not have a full-time paid minister; every presentation is given from the presenter’s point of view and may not represent the fellowship as a whole. Please come and find community with us, where we can learn something new each week.
