Joanie Andras is a Buddhist nun, a certified teacher of mindfulness and a member of our Fellowship. She’ll offer a personal account of how fear and anxiety can be great teachers.

This pre-recorded service will be available on our YouTube channel on Sunday morning, June 7. Our campus is closed to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

Joanie is a sought-after teacher of mindfulness. She has studied Buddhist meditation, philosophy, and psychology since 1984, and she was ordained as a Buddhist nun in 2005. She also earned a doctorate in psychology in 1993, focusing on the psychology of meditation.

Please join us this Sunday on YouTube. After you watch, please hit the “like” button (if you liked), leave a comment about the video and subscribe to our channel.

Grace Fellowship Hall will reopen, in a limited way, for the Sunday service on June 14, but only if the latest data and trends about the pandemic remain encouraging. Check this website for the latest information. When we do reopen, we’ll require masks and strict social distancing, and we’ll limit the number of people who can attend a service.

Meanwhile, we’ll continue posting services on YouTube, and we’ll continue offering opportunities to connect with each other by Zoom videoconferencing.

We respect your decisions to do what it takes to protect your health. We want to help you stay safe.
