Gaia, Mother Earth and the Oneness of Everything

This week singer-songwriter Jim Scott presents “Gaia, Mother Earth and the Oneness of Everything.” Scott has brought his contemporary and multicultural music to more than 700 Unitarian Universalist churches over the past three decades. His much loved song “Gather the Spirit” and a number of others are included in the Unitarian Universalist hymnbook. Scott speaks with passion on ecology, justice and peace. As song-leader he lifts joyous participation from congregations.

Childcare is available from 9:30 a.m. until noon.

9:30 a.m. Adult Religious Education. “History of the Bible,” led by Rick Spradlin.

9:30 a.m. UU Singers practice.

10:30 a.m. Coffee and conversation before the service.

10:45 a.m. Sunday service.

10:50 a.m. Children’s Religious Education. The kids join us for the first part of the service, which includes a children’s story, then they adjourn to a classroom for their own activities.
