
Frank Sheppard is responsible for all daily operations of the food bank over its 18-county coverage area. He began these duties in January, 2014 and previously served as an officer on their board of directors for nine years.
Prior to joining the food bank, Frank enjoyed a 24-year career in Finance and
Management with Litho-Krome Company, a subsidiary of Hallmark Cards, Inc. He held positions of increasing responsibility in Finance, Human Resources, Warehouse operations and Environmental Health and Safety. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Columbus College (now Columbus State University) in 1990.
Frank and his wife Peggy, an educator at MLK Elementary School, live in Upatoi.
They have two grown children and three grandchildren.

The Interfaith Action Food Bank was formed in 1982 as a result of the vision of several servant leaders in the Columbus, GA community who saw the need for a centralized, consolidated food source for disadvantaged families and individuals.
