Ed Wilson: Good and evil, and the Gods

Ed Wilson is a founding member of our Fellowship and served as our adjunct minister. (He’s a former Seventh Day Adventist minister.)

Ed Wilson

This presentation’s subtitle is “a strategy for victory in our fight against evil.” If anyone’s up to that challenge, it’s Ed Wilson. One of Unitarian Universalism’s principles is to “support each other in a free and responsible search for truth and meaning.” That’s how Ed lives his life.

Ed left the Seventh Day Adventists in the 1960s, but he continued his lifelong studies of spirituality and philosophy. He also was popular radio talk-show host in the Chattahoochee Valley, and he served as executive assistant to two Columbus mayors.

Sunday services begin at 11 a.m., but join us early for coffee and conversation. In addition to a talk, services include music, readings, meditation and optional opportunities to share your thoughts. And we’re done by noon. Visitors are always welcome at our liberal, progressive Fellowship.

Unitarian Universalism is unique in that we value “deeds before creeds.” Our members come from many faith traditions. We also include humanists, agnostics, atheists and people of don’t want to be labeled. See the Seven Principles of UU. If you’ve had doubts about other organized religions, you might find a home here. (Full disclosure—we’re not that organized.)
