“Economics and Reading”

Our guest speaker at this Sunday’s service will be Claudia Muller, former director of the Chattahoochee Valley Public Libraries.

Muller will talk about the importance of reading for full participation in a modern economy. She’s an expert on the subject, with a graduate degree from Emory University and 35 years’ experience in libraries in West Virginia, Maryland, Iowa, New York, Ohio, Michigan and Georgia.  (Read about our new website design.)

9:30 a.m. Adult Religious Education: “How Did Jesus Become God?” led by Rick Spradlin.
10:30 a.m. Coffee and conversation before the service.
10:45 a.m. Sunday Program: “Economics and Reading”, presented by Claudya Muller, former director of Chattahoochee Valley Libraries.
10:50 a.m. The kids join us for the first few minutes of the service, which usually includes a children’s story. But this Sunday we’ll have an Easter Egg hunt, after which the children will adjourn to a classroom for an art lesson with Paul Lee.

On the third Sunday of the month, so we give away the collection plate. This month’s recipient is El Refugio in Lumpkin, Ga..

Childcare is available from 9:30 a.m. until noon.
