David Berggren – “My Spiritual Journey”

David Berggren was born in Ohio and grew up in other places. He went to school then he went to more school. He learned to play and write music for fun and continues to play and perform under the suspicion it might connect to something more than we understand. He lives with his partner and travels often to see his children.

At the age of 17 he had a profound spiritual experience which brought him closer to his progressive UCC / Congregationalist upbringing, but following exposure to other fervent faith communities has focused on understanding and incorporating a wide range of thought, spiritual and scientific disciplines wherever he finds it. He has found a comfortable home in UU communities since 2018 and is often under the spell of recording of lectures by Alan Watts when considering spiritual matters

Join us this Sunday to hear more about fellowship member, David Berggren’s spiritual journey to where he is now.

At the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Columbus, GA, we are a liberal religion—not because of politics, but because of openness. Because we draw wisdom from many sources. Because we believe revelation is not sealed. Because we welcome questions, stories, and truths from every path. Join us for Sunday programs at 11:00 AM Eastern, come early to enjoy coffee, cookies and conversation!
