Hi! My name is Corey Steverson. I’m a natural born anarchist who was lucky enough to discover Anarchism and Anti-Fascism through Punk music as a young teen. That’s pretty much what led me to be involved in organizing with Mutual Aid and Prefiguration today.
Well that, and just witnessing the rapidly deteriorating material conditions of this current reality that we all share. That’s a big part of it too.

I am one of the founding members and have been volunteering with Food Not Bombs, a mutual aid organization in Columbus, since its inception over a year ago.
We are an all volunteer run, horizontally structured, decentralized movement that seeks to provide food and resources to the community by serving vegan meals, sharing literature, and engaging with people about ways that we can mutually support each other as our state fails to meet the basic needs of it’s people.
Our main goals are to address poverty and hunger by shining a light on its root causes as well as to educate each other on the need to change our society and some of the ways that we can already be doing that.
We believe food is a right, not a privilege.
No creeds. No dogma. Just a shared commitment to love, truth, and community. If you’re looking for a place that honors your beliefs and encourages your questions, come experience the warmth and wisdom of our UU Fellowship.
