Ashley Desensi – “Water Quality in Columbus and the Middle Chattahoochee”

Ashley, a Georgia native with an MS in Natural Sciences from Columbus State University, serves as CRK’s Technical Programs Specialist. After interning with CRK in 2019, Ashley joined as a full-time staff member in January of 2020. Growing up among GA’s diverse landscapes inspired a deep passion for native plants and ecological restoration. Ashley leads water quality and stormwater monitoring, permitting, GIS projects, and trash trap operations in the Middle Chattahoochee. In her free time, she enjoys exploring and botanizing across the Southeast with her family.

At the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Columbus, GA, we are a liberal religion—not because of politics, but because of openness. Because we draw wisdom from many sources. Because we believe revelation is not sealed. Because we welcome questions, stories, and truths from every path. Join us for Sunday programs at 11:00 AM Eastern, come early to enjoy coffee, cookies and conversation!
