Michelle Midgette – My Spiritual Journey

Michelle Midgette is a mother, wife, and grandmother. As an Army wife to Hal, she moved 17 times. Her various careers included teaching high school English in 3 states; editing Army Engineer training manuals in Virginia; managing an Army newspaper in Hawaii; teaching English to employees of the Korean government in Seoul; and teaching ESOL to international students at CSU’s English Language Institute. In 2009, she retired and joined UU. Michelle is currently Co-Chair of the Social Action Committee and Coordinator of the UU Women’s Book Club. She enjoys traveling with Hal and reading with her amazing cat, Grqycie, in her lap.

What You Are Is Where You Were When –The path that eventually brought me to UU was where I encountered the people, religions, and ideas that influenced my beliefs.
