City council clean energy vote postponed

The Columbus City Council has postponed a vote on the Clean Energy Columbus resolution. The vote was to be Tuesday, Aug. 22. Louisa Childs of Clean Energy Columbus says the resolution will come to a vote at a later meeting, possibly with revisions. Louisa tells us the postponement could be good new. Apparently there are some issue to resolve, the the measure remains under consideration.

Louisa and Troy Keller spoke to us about the Clean Energy Columbus resolution a couple Sundays ago. Our Fellowship board voted to support it, and many of you signed up to write your city councilors. If you did that, good! In fact, it gives us even more time to email members of the City Council. Please do that!
